There are several ways to join our efforts and be a part of the uplifting atmosphere that Bridge of Hope SD has become known for. Wherever your passion may lie, there is a place for you at Bridge of Hope SD, but we understand you may have a few questions.
We are in current need of volunteers who can regularly commit to help and for donations to provide our families in transition with material goods to help them thrive in their community. Please contact Caroline Choi if you are interested to help! Email: email@example.com
Please donate clean, gently used and/or new furniture items including the following: Couches, coffee tables, chairs, beds, dressers, small desks, dining sets, lamps, end tables, small bookshelves, small TVs, and TV stands. In addition to furniture, we also always need small appliances such as blenders, toasters, microwaves, coffee makers, pots, pans, etc.
We offer the following positions: Arts and crafts, yard work, dump runs, food pick up (Thursday and/or every other Saturday), furniture pick up and delivery (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and/or every other Saturday), and general maintenance of our two locations once a month. We are always looking for new volunteers for the 2nd and 4th Saturday to assist/lead crafts for kids between the ages of 5 and 14.
We are funded entirely by private donations and small grants. If you would like to support us financially, you can click on our PayPal Donate button or send a check to Bridge of Hope SD and mail to P.O. Box 3952, Clairemont Mesa Blvd., D#185, San Diego, CA 92117.
We discourage the donations of most books, as we do not have the space for them.
If you are interested in volunteering, please email Caroline Choi with the volunteer positions you are interested in and a statement of responsibilities. We are in a high demand for volunteering with crafts. Once you are placed, we will schedule you on the calendar for upcoming months. Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
The most urgent donation items are pots and pans, dishes, glasses, silverware, towels for bath, twin and full sheet sets, pillowcases, and toys.
